Am I a republican hippie?

Hippie half
I am a vegetarian who has followed a vegan diet for the past 2 months. I recycle plastic, aluminum, paper and glass because our community offers it free of charge and supplies us with recycle bins. I buy organic. I use canvas bags instead of paper or plastic.

Non-hippie half
I do not approve of PETA. I am anti-liberal. I shave! I’ve never participated in a sit in, love it or protest. I don’t like incense or the Grateful Dead. I am not anti-war and I think global warming is a crock!

This is why they call us conservationists “Boy Scouts” or “Girl Scouts” as if it were some sort of insult, because we have been doing what we’re supposed to, for decades, without having to be told.
They are extremely jealous of this.

Also, a successful private charity is the worst nightmare of a liberal bureaucrat, as it makes people immune to having their votes ‘bought’ by handouts, and actually solves a problem that they wish would never go away.

In a word… yes! LOL.

I love animal products too much to be a vegan.

“Steaks are murder… tasty, tasty murder.”

No, you’re all right – you’re not extreme.

Conservative Republicans are actually the true environmentalists. We’re the ones who really care. We are the hikers, the campers, the hunters, and boaters, the fisherman.

The liberal left are the ones who claim to hold the high ground of being pro-environment so that they can use this as a political agenda. They are pro-environment so that they can be anti-industry. They claim to be pro-environment because this way, they feel it justifies their hatred towards corporations and industry.

While the conservatives are the ones out there in the wilderness doing the hiking and the camping, the liberals are hanging out in an air-conditioned Starbucks sipping latte and opening up their laptops and telling everyone else how to live their lives.

Your not extreme. You can have different opinions about different topics. I think there´s no problem. Just be yourself and don´t think about what you are because of your different views.
