I may be facing that myself in a few months since I work for a non-profit whose finances are dwindling due to the recession. I, however, am starting to look. I do not expect anyone to bail me out, especially Congress. This guy has a sense of entitlement - he should be pounding the pavement instead (and he may be - I'll give him the benefit of the doubt). "Liberal friend" isn't an oxymoron. I think that is how we can be different from the radical left - we can be friends with people with whom we disagree. Last time I checked, that is what tolerance really means. I found your blog via Read My Lipstick Network (of which I'm a member). I've subscribed and look forward to reading more of your posts.
