I would hate to be Michelle Obama, her husband gives crappy gifts. Sometimes it isn’t the thought that counts or maybe his gift giving is extra special because he lets those 2 little girls pick out the gifts.
I am having a hard time believing that obama training pants doesn’t have some adviser somewhere that would tell him that an iPod is not an acceptable gift to the Queen of England. Oh, but wait! It was loaded with songs and had accessories so that may be ok. Except for the fact that she ALREADY HAD ONE. I can’t wait to find out if there was an inscription!

Yeah, I was hoping this was an April Fool’s joke.
First the region-locked DVDs, now the iPod. I don’t get it. Is he trying to set a new precedence in gift giving between dignitaries? Are the traditional gifts given too lavish for his political message? After the DVDs, it’s difficult to understand how this could happen again by accident. Either way, I believe it to be a big miscalculation.

Why not give her one of those Franklin Mint Obama inaugural plates? Or membership in the Fruit-of-the-Month club? At least she probably does not already have those things.
