If you know you can vent, and reveal your judgmental side, here on the internet it can take some pressure off of you in the moment, when you are finding it hard to just let other people be themselves, without it changing how you are. As long as you remember that you are kind, a cool person to be around, and even tolerant, (and I mean tolerant, not ignorant.)
That being said, in the workplace, you must make evaluations and analysis. That doesn't have anything to do with being judgmental and mean, at least it doesn't have to. There needs to be a financial/business rationale behind each decision, but that doesn't have to effect the way you carry yourself, your personality, tone of voice, sarcasm, etc.
That's what having friends outside of work, and family, or even a blog is for; if you need it. If someone has decided they are going to JUDGE YOU solely based on the outcome of a decision you make at work, there is nothing you can do about it, except to make the best decision for you and your company - and feel sorry for their pathetic lack of values and shallowness.
